The upcoming concert on November 23 in the “Sliven” hall is dedicated to Belgian music and promises an unforgettable evening of musical splendor with the ingenious works of two exceptional composers – Guillaume Lekeu and Joseph Jongen. The start is at 6:30 p.m.

Lekeu leaves behind a remarkable body of work despite his tragically short life (24 years). His Sonata for Violin and Piano is a gem that demonstrates his immense talent. Composed in 1892, it is known for its emotional depth and touching melodies.

The Bulgarian premiere of the Trio for Violin, Cello and Piano Op. 10 by Joseph Jongen, another influential Belgian composer with a unique and captivating musical expression, will also take place on the stage of the “Sliven” hall.

The audience will hear the two brilliant compositions performed by three leading and beloved Bulgarian performers from Sliven – Atanas Krastev (cello), Kremena Oksenkrug (violin) and Martina Tabakova (piano).
